Many may not agree, but a survey in Britain has revealed that most couples enjoy their best sex after four years of togetherness.
According to the survey, lovers said that four years was the point at which they felt comfortable enough to lose their inhibitions.
One in four of 3,000 adults polled admitted they were more confident with their body after a few years together, while 60 per cent felt more able to try new things, British tabloid 'The Sun' reported.
But only one in ten said sex improved after marriage, the survey has found.
A spokesman for Philips, who carried out the survey, said: "Sex is like any other part of a relationship -- it grows and develops in time."
